New Grass-Fed Cows From the Osguthorpe Brothers!

Getting grass-fed cows from the best sources is one of our top priorities for the Farm. Today we brought in some new calves from the Osguthorpe Brothers based out of Delta, Utah.

After the cows were delivered, we drove out to the pastures and dropped off some salt licks for the cows.

Of course Bill had lunch ready for everyone after the work was done.

The grass used to feed the cows gets its water from the melted snow of the Uinta mountains, which feeds the springs and irrigates the grass all summer long making great grass for hungry cows. The "grass" is actually a combination of different types of grass like Timothy grass, fine grass, and dandelions. The cows love them all.

Harvest Season

Harvest, a noun, originally came from the Old English word hΓ¦rfest, also meaning autumn. We love harvest season here at the Bill White Farms.  As we grow more every year, it means that many more beautiful colorful crops.  This year we have started canning everything that we can so that we can keep using them for Farm Dinners and throughout the rest of the year.
