Getting grass-fed cows from the best sources is one of our top priorities for the Farm. Today we brought in some new calves from the Osguthorpe Brothers based out of Delta, Utah.

After the cows were delivered, we drove out to the pastures and dropped off some salt licks for the cows.

Of course Bill had lunch ready for everyone after the work was done.

The grass used to feed the cows gets its water from the melted snow of the Uinta mountains, which feeds the springs and irrigates the grass all summer long making great grass for hungry cows. The "grass" is actually a combination of different types of grass like Timothy grass, fine grass, and dandelions. The cows love them all.
